Christingle at St Pirans

Today, many of our Perran-ar-Worthal School children attended the Christingle service at St Pirans. Following the vicar's lovely child centred story about the meaning of the Christingle, every child was given their very own Christingle to hold. The children also delighted the congregation with their singing of 'Away in a Manger' and 'The Lord's Prayer'. The congregation were also treated to an inpromtu joint performance of both the children's choir and the Perran-ar-Worthal Adult Community choir. We look forward to performing as a joint choir again on Wednesday, December, 17th at 6.30pm in Truro Cathedral.
