Pupils Impress our Chair of Governors

19th November 2014
Mr Colin Bridges, our Chair of Governors, spent the day at school watching our pupils at work and at play. During his visit he was able to see all the classes during our spelling sessions, observed pupils during maths and literacy lessons, talk to our Year 6 librarians, observe the children during playtime, speak to staff and pupils and attend a school assembly which focused on the role of the school council. Mr Bridges was also treated to a very delicious school lunch. He expressed his thanks for being made to feel so welcome. He was impressed with the behaviour of our pupils and how well structured the school day was. We would like to thank Mr Bridges for his time and extend our thanks to the governing body for the support and committment they demonstrate within their demanding role as school governors.
