Our English Governor Comes to Visit

SPELLING IS ON THE AGENDA!

During his English visit today, Mr John Harvey enjoyed talking to our children about their writing tasks. During the morning John had the opportunity to visit all our classes where he saw how the children work within focused spelling groups which start every morning at 9.10am. John was also told about the great benefits of our new school library and how the juniorlibrarian.net system is used to monitor which books are being borrowed by whom, which are the most popular authors and how the books are catalogued to ensure all children know where to find the books they are looking for. We would like to thank John for giving so generously of his time to support our school as a governor.
