ARTISTS IN THE MAKING!

As part of their topic ‘Blown Away’, Robins enjoyed an exciting workshop with Sarah from Falmouth Art Gallery this week. The children were introduced to artists who have painted the sea in its many moods. The morning began with experimental ‘mark making’ using charcoal, where the children were encouraged to make lines, dots, squiggles and shading. The activity moved on to using coloured pastels where the children were asked to create their very own pictures of the sea. The results were amazing! It was clear that he children were totally engaged in creating their own masterpieces and had a wonderful time expressing their ideas and feelings on paper. Well done Robins!
