An amazing day afternoon was had on Thursday, 8th May when we came together as a village and school community to celebrate VE Day. From the very young to the ‘slightly’ older, the after-noon brought several generations together to eat yummy cake, drink tea, look at fabulous art work, read thought-provoking poetry and spend time talking and sharing memories and moments. Thank you to all who were able to attend and a huge thank you to all of those who helped to make this special day happen. Nearly £400 was raised for The British Legion!
