A great day was had when we finally managed to hold our annual sports day - a very popular event for all involved. The weather gave us that last window of opportunity to have a full afternoon of activity down on the village green. Well supported by friends and relatives, the children took to the field in a range of track and off track events from traditional running races and hurdles to team challenges where egg and spoon, space hoppers, hockey ball dribbling, bean bag throwing and much more, were all on the 'to do list' for every child to take part. The day ended with every child enjoying a well deserved ice pop, kindly provided by FOPS. A big thank you to all involved for making this year another very successful and enjoyable sports day.
